Sufjan Stevens is an American singer-songwriter born in Detroit, Michigan. He is best known for the albums Carrie & Lowell (2015), Age Of Adz (2010), Illinois (2005), Seven Swans (2004), and Michigan (2003).

Recent work includes two new songs for the film Call Me By Your Name, a song about "Tonya Harding," and collaborations with choreographer Justin Peck for the New York City Ballet.

Sufjan currently lives in New York City.

Sufjan's most recent single is an ode to American figure skater Tonya Harding.
